Bibliographic databases are information resources that organize the bibliographic information of information resources such as articles, documents, books, and magazines with the purpose of making the recovery/retrieval process easier.  There are bibliographic databases that provide brief information of an article such as the author, title, abstract, and description of the resources. This type of database is known as an index.  There are other databases that provide access to the digital version of the information resource. This type of database is known as a complete-text database.
